Why I chose LSHTM/my course
I chose to study at LSHTM believing that it would be the perfect match for my educational and professional needs as a global and public health professional. The DrPH programme has a very attractive design that offers the opportunity to explore research, policy and practice. At LSHTM, I was able to find a programme with a robust approach to global health, and the different social, economic, and biomedical challenges that affect people living anywhere in the world. The programme also gives an important emphasis to health policy in a wide range of countries, from low to high-income. Nonetheless, due to London’s international relevance and enviably high scientific standards, LSHTM is the ideal place to gain cutting-edge knowledge and experience in global health policy.
