MSc Reproductive & Sexual Health ResearchContact Cephas Avoka
I am a medical doctor with experience in rural health policy and practice across Ghana over the last four years. I have also advocated for Youth Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights since 2012, training medical students to become health advocates from all over the world and working with youth-led organizations to promote reproductive and sexual health rights of young people in many African countries.
Research interests or career goals
My research interest is in adolescent health, with a special focus on reproductive and sexual health rights and experience of adolescents especially in rural areas.
Why I chose LSHTM/my course
I chose the MSc Reproductive & Sexual Health Research and LSHTM because the School is known for pushing the limits of health research and innovation, both of which are required to change the current trajectory of health indicators in many low- and middle-income countries such as Ghana.
