MSc Medical StatisticsContact Brendah Nansereko
I hold an undergraduate BSc degree in Statistics and an MSc in Biostatistics from Makerere University in Uganda. I worked on various research projects as a Biostatistician before embarking on my MSc Medical Statistics at LSHTM.
My research interests/career goals
My main interests are in statistical methods and their application in clinical practice especially the analysis of clinical trials. My overarching career goal is to provide and contribute to the data analysis functions of existing public health systems in Sub-Saharan Africa.
Why I chose LSHTM/my programme
I chose MSc Medical Statistics because it was a good platform on which to further my career in biostatistics and satiate my interests in statistical methodologies and analysis of clinical trials. Being in an environment of senior researcher with expertise in quantitative methodologies at LSHTM is especially appealing.
