MSc Public Health – General streamContact Anna Nachbor
I graduated from Carleton College in 2018 with a major in Biology and a minor in Spanish. During my undergraduate, I participated in various internships and jobs in clinical research, education, and community development both within the United States and abroad.
Research interests or career goals
During my undergraduate, I developed an interest in women’s empowerment, maternal health, and the intersection of culture, politics, and health. Following my MSc I will matriculate in medical school in the United States. I hope to use my training to work with collaborative teams on complex problems surrounding health disparities and solutions to those problems through long-term research studies.
Why I chose LSHTM/my programme
I was drawn to LSHTM because of the diversity in students, staff, and faculty. While working on problems as complex as those that arise in health, I see the strength in multidisciplinary teams from around the world and from differing backgrounds. So far my course has been incredible, even in the time of Zoom-learning, and I have enjoyed meeting and working with my peers who share an equal passion for public health.
