Research interests or career goals
I am interested in Infectious Diseases, particularly viruses, and hope to do a thesis project in this area. In the future, I hope to use my knowledge gained from undergrad and from the Master’s at LSHTM to help shape government policy towards infectious disease control and containment.
Why I chose LSHTM/my programme
I chose LSHTM as it came highly recommended by my professors at my university as well as from friends of my parents. I applied for Medical Microbiology specifically as it allows me to develop a more thorough and in-depth understanding of some of my favourite pathogens as well as providing me with world class teaching and laboratory opportunities.
