Educational/professional background
I am an intercalating student from the University of Geneva, currently in the last year of my medical studies. My experiences in medical research have made me passionate about the field of epidemiology and convinced me to get formal training in quantitative statistical methods.
Research interests or career goals
Once I complete my specialist training in general internal medicine, my long-term goal is to combine clinical work with medical research. I have broad research interests, ranging from the impact of HIV and TB on maternal/child health, to the influence of lifestyle factors on non-communicable chronic diseases.
