As a general rule it is advisable that, in the first instance, you should contact your own Ministry of Education or Education Department, which will have details of most schemes and which will be able to advise you of your own government's conditions for studying abroad.
You should check carefully the eligibility criteria for any of the funding organisations before you apply to them.
LSHTM-CMB Scholarship Programme in Health Policy and Systems Science
The London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM) and the China Medical Board (CMB) are delighted to announce a scholarship programme in health policy and systems science.
The Health Policy and Systems Science Programme is a joint initiative of the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine and the China Medical Board. In the fifth year of the Programme, it is offering three scholarship options: (1) PhD training at the School for candidates who want to obtain an PhD degree at the School, (2) Sandwich PhD training at the School for students registered for a PhD at one of the partner universities or (3) Post-doctoral research at School for candidates who have already completed a PhD or are about to do so.
Training and research must be relevant to the subject area of health policy and systems science. Scholarship participants will benefit from world-class teaching in London, and PhD candidates will in addition build their knowledge and understanding of health systems and policy research through jointly supervised research.
The generous scholarship provides a complete package of support for the successful student.
