The London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine is delighted to offer five scholarships for full MSc fees from the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission for the following distance learning programmes to start October 2020.
The scholarships are available to citizens from low/middle income Commonwealth countries who must be permanently resident in that country for the duration of their MSc studies.
How to apply
Applicants must apply via the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission application system and must have an offer of a place on the programme first by applying for the MSc programme through the University of London Worldwide.
Key dates and deadlines
The application deadline is 16.00 (GMT) on Monday 4 May 2020.
All supporting documentation – which must include an offer letter from the University of London confirming a place on one of the above distance learning programmes and at least one reference – must be provided no later than 16.00 (GMT) on Friday 22 May 2020.
Successful candidates will be selected from those who have been offered a place on one of the distance learning MSc programmes and whose applications clearly demonstrate the following:
- how their work experience aligns with the distance learning MSc programme they wish to study;
- how acquiring the MSc award would be essential to further developing their career;
- how the skills and qualification obtained from their distance learning studies would benefit the institution at which they work; and
- how the skills and qualification would impact on the development of their home country.
