Scholarship for current students
Bayer has provided a generous donation of EUR 10,000.00, for students currently registered for one of the following London-based programmes of study:
Up to 11 awards of GBP 800.00 each are available.
This funding is available to students undertaking an MSc project in vector research. The project of successful applicants should focus on vector control specifically rather than on targeting other components of vector-borne disease control (e.g. chemotherapy, vaccines etc).
This funding is only available for:
- The costs associated with a student’s MSc project, including travel or any activity associated with the project.
- Unexpected costs accrued due to COVID-19 (this may include rent payments or other expenses associated with being in London when a student may have originally budgeted to be away from London for a prolonged period, undertaking their project).
Students awarded this funding will be required to send a one-page report to the donor thanking them for their support, summarising how they have used the funds, and updating the donor on the MSc project.

- a completed Bayer Research & Travel Grant Application Form, and
