What are the bold global health ideas for WHO?

In recent years, WHO has faced numerous challenges, criticisms and questioning of its role as the authority in global health.

In May 2017, Dr Tedros succeeded Dr Margaret Chan as Director-General on a platform that promised to bring a fresh perspective to WHO. Shortly after assuming his new role, he spoke at the School and issued a challenge to the global public health community to present him with a list of bold ideas for WHO. In this Global Health Lab, we rise to this challenge and debate what such bold ideas might be.

*The Lancet and The Centre for Global Chronic Conditions on behalf of LSHTM have teamed up to present Global Health Lab, a series of focussed discussions on key global health challenges facing the international community today.  Global Health Lab aims to provide a forum for lively debate and to exchange ideas that will push forward both research and policy agendas.
