The Need for Using Theory to Consider the Transferability of Interventions

This lecture explores ways that the transferability of interventions to new settings might be modelled statistically and the role of theory in considering the question of transfer. The lecture draws on preliminary results of the realist trial of the Learning Together whole-school health programme in the UK.
