Monitoring and evaluation is not a cult. Or is it?

Green slide with LSHTM Event in white text

Monitoring and Evaluation, M&E for short, is a buzzword that has earned a “cult-like” status in public health. Yet the field is hugely important for public health, allowing to assess whether interventions actually work. Visiting US Professor George Rutherford will discuss the principles of M&E, drawing on his international experience.

The talk is an introduction to Monitoring and Evaluation aimed at those who wish to gain an introduction to the field. Essential frameworks are covered before discussing the approaches, methods and examples of M&E. Time will be available at the end to ask questions to Professor Rutherford.
