Let’s Talk COVID-19: Use case scenarios for potential COVID-19 vaccines

lets-talk-covid-19

Join us for the second seminar in the Let’s Talk COVID-19 series where Professor Annelies Wilder-Smith will discuss the potential for COVID-19 vaccines.

The speed with which a potential COVID-19 vaccine is being developed is remarkable due to parallel efforts of diverse platforms and high-risk early upscaling of manufacturing capabilities. In addition, early deliberations are underway that will shape policy formulations based on target product profiles and anticipated optimum impact especially in the context of constrained vaccine supply.

  • Chair: Hilary Bower, Assistant professor in Epidemiology, UK Public Health Rapid Support Team
  • Speaker: Annelies Wilder-Smith, Professor of Emerging Infectious Diseases, LSHTM
  • Discussant: Professor Daniel Bausch, Director, UK Public Health Rapid Support Team
