Development Debates: Does short-term volunteering abroad do more harm than good?
On Wednesday 11th October 2017 the fourth debate of the LIDC & The Guardian Development Debate Series will take place at LSHTM.
The debate will be looking at short term international volunteering and discussing whether it does more harm than good.
Expect interesting speakers, thought provoking discussions and an opportunity to network at a drinks reception afterwards.
LIDC has teamed up with The Guardian Development Network to host a series of panel debates on current key issues in international development. Four speakers, comprised of academics from the Bloomsbury Colleges, development practitioners and policy-makers, will take questions from the audience and discussions will be guided by a moderator.
