Creating a resilient health care system: lessons from the pandemic from the Netherlands

Green slide with LSHTM Event in white text

Join us for this seminar from the Department of Health Services Research & Policy Seminar on decision-making during the Coronavirus pandemic. The seminar will focus on what we can learn from it about the resilience of Dutch healthcare: the role of healthcare professionals and patient representatives; how cooperation within healthcare came about, and what the role of timing was. A resilient care system cannot be 'organised', but the conditions for resilient responses can be worked on. Resilience care has no 'quick-fix'. It requires a long and layered approach and a reflexive and learning attitude from those involved.
