Alan Dangour: An Appetite for Planetary Health

Inaugural Lecture event graphic

Please join us for the inaugural lecture of Professor Alan Dangour on 9 May 2019 at John Snow Lecture Theatre. Alan will reflect on 18 years of nutrition-related research and engagement at LSHTM that has taken him from the jungles of Amazonia to the committee rooms of UK parliament. He will discuss the critical role of nutrition in global public health and the urgent need, in this era of intense public debate on climate change, to widen the focus of nutrition to incorporate not only population health but also the health of the planet.
