This session wil be hosted by the Pathfinder Initiative, a project led by researchers at LSHTM that aims to show how well designed policies, actions and technologies can yield multiple benefits for people and planet.

LSHTM researchers will present the challenges of bringing together coherent evidence on the health co-benefits of climate mitigation actions and ways forward to advance research in this area and generate evidence to inform policy and practice. The health effects of carbon pricing interventions and case studies of implemented climate solutions that are benefitting health, will be explored.

The event will be chaired by Sir Andy Haines, Professor of Environmental Change and Public health at LSHTM and Co-Chair of the Lancet Pathfinder Commission.
