Picking up the pace: can research have a more powerful impact on policy?

Overview:

The Sax Institute (https://www.saxinstitute.org.au/) has been working for some time on programmes designed to improve the use of research in policy in New South Wales and beyond. Most recently, it has been focusing on developing what it regards as potentially more engaging and powerful strategies, in particular, attempts to develop the capacity of health policy agencies to absorb and use research findings. Among a range of work on research and policy, Sally will present the findings from a trail of capacity development for evidence use.
