I have 18 years of experience in strategic planning, project management, marketing and communication, and financial management. I have been focusing in Public Health Research in the last 6 years, working as Research Group Operations & Project Manager.
I am currently working with a group of researchers from multiple disciplines, who investigate health determinants (especially social change, alcohol, tobacco and nutrition), health system performance, chronic non-communicable diseases (NCD), and health system and policy. My projects are in low, middle and high-income country settings, including transitional settings and vulnerable populations such as humanitarian crises and migrant populations.
I coordinate a Research Group and manage the contractual and financial aspects of several research projects, including STRENGHT and EU-TOPIA. I am also leading RESPOND project management, communication strategy and implementation, and I am assisting Prof. Martin McKee in his role as Medical Director and Professor of European Public Health.
