Ms Tui Swinnen
Tui joined the School in November 2018 to support the work of Professor Beate Kampmann. This includes supporting the LSHTM Vaccine Centre and Professor Kampmann's other work at LSHTM and the MRC Unit in The Gambia.
She has worked for several international NGOs with experience working in East and West Africa and South Asia. Her focus has been on monitoring, evaluation and learning, and project management.
Tui is in her final year of a Msc Public Health (Environment stream) with the LSHTM distance learning programme. She completed a Bachelor of Arts/Social Science (Hons I) at the University of Sydney in 2011 majoring in Political Economy with year III on exchange in Santiago at La Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Chile.
Areas of interest are malnutrition and the double burden, environmental and social determinants of health, and infectious diseases and vaccinology.
