Research

My PhD is funded by the National Institute for Health Research Health Protection Unit (NIHR HPRU) in Immunsation. My project is centred around vaccine uptake and how this is impacted by mental health conditions using Electronic Health Records. I will mainly focus on mental health issues in mothers and how this is impacting the vaccination status of their children. Further, I am aiming to explore different patterns of vaccination uptake and how they can be predicted by mental health and other social inequalities and how this has changed pre and post COVID-19.
