I graduated in Mathematics from the University of the Aegean in 2014 and completed a Master’s in Biostatistics at National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in 2018. 

I have worked as a Statistician at the University of Milan and as a SAS Programmer in the biopharmaceutical industry in the UK.

In 2021, I joined the Cancer Survival Group as a Doctoral student funded by the Children with Cancer UK Fellowship. My project will focus on global surveillance of survival trends in children diagnosed with Wilms’ tumour.

Research

My main research is in cancer survival. I am interested in investigating the world-wide variation and time trends in survival in children diagnosed with nephroblastoma.

My additional research interests are in systematic reviews and meta-analysis for the effect of nutrition and lifestyle factors on cancer outcomes.
