Ms Sarah Sharpe
Communications Officer Research Projects
I lead communications for LSHTM's Centre on Climate Change and Planetary Health and affiliated projects including the Pathfinder Initiative and Children, Cities and Climate. I am also supporting communications for the Environment and Health Modelling Lab and Multi-Country Multi-City Collaborative Research Network.
Before joining LSHTM, I worked in communications consultancies in London and Paris, as well as for the Department of International Trade at the British Embassy in Tokyo. My recent work has focused on global health and development, supporting organisations such as the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the Wellcome Trust and the Global Nutrition Report and covering a range of topical issues including planetary health, infectious diseases, antimicrobial resistance, maternal health, family planning, nutrition, food systems and gender equality.
I have an MA in Modern Languages (French and Italian) from the University of Cambridge and an MSc in International Relations from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
