Mikyung Kelly Seo is PhD candidate in health economics at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM), focusing on economic evaluations of cancer biomarkers for targeted therapies. She holds a MSc in Health Policy, Planning and Financing from the London School of Economics (LSE) and LSHTM. Her research is to assess the intrinsic value of medical techologies especially for precision medicine and diagnostics. Currently, she collaborates with the Centre for Cancer Biomarkers (CCBIO) at the University of Bergen. Her research areas include health technology assessment, decision-analytic modelling, cancer survival analysis, value of information analysis, econometrics modelling, evidence generation and synthesis for economic evaluations.
