I completed a BSc in Biochemistry at the University of Sussex in 2013 and went on to gain experience in WASH in East Africa which prompted me to enroll on the MSc in Control of Infectious Diseases at LSHTM, where I graduated in 2017.

I’m currently a Research Assistant with the TB Modelling Group where I will provide technical support to National TB Program (NTP) staff in the use of a TB modelling tool TIME Impact. This tool assists NTPs in country-level policy making and adds weight to the data provided in concept notes during grant writing

Working closely with NTP staff in Vietnam, Indonesia and one or more Eastern European countries, I will be modelling interventions in TIME, with the longer-term goal of ensuring country programs are self-sufficient in collating data and estimating the epidemiological impact of interventions

Research

I am interested in implementation research as a tool to guide TB program planning and evaluation, and to build capacity and strengthen local expertise. I am looking to focus on identifying how NTPs can allocate resources and leverage funding to improve effectiveness and coverage of interventions.
