Hana Rohan is Assistant Professor in Social Science for the UK Public Health Rapid Support Team, LSHTM. She is deployable in the event of an outbreak emergency.  Hana obtained her PhD from LSHTM in 2010, studying access to HIV services in the UK for Zimbabwean women with insecure immigration status. Hana has a longstanding interest in the health of vulnerable populations and in infectious disease, and since completing her PhD, has worked on a number of health and governance research projects for NGOs in Sierra Leone, Nigeria, and Cambodia. She has also worked in operational positions in Sierra Leone during the Ebola response and in the post-Ebola recovery period, helping manage the Ebola alerts system, and then the Free Health Care medical commodities supply chain.
