Professor Audrey Prost
of Global Health & Head of Doctoral College
I am a social anthropologist with epidemiological training. I joined LSHTM in 2018.
My research focuses on designing and evaluating community interventions to improve maternal, child and adolescent health in India. I am particularly interested in participatory interventions and community engagement methods.
I am the Head of the Doctoral College, which supports the School's research degree activities.
For the past ten years I have collaborated with the Indian civil society organisation Ekjut to support the design and evaluation of community mobilisation with participatory women's and adolescent groups to improve maternal, newborn, child and adolescent health.
