Tim is a Doctor of Public Health research student with the International Centre for Evidence in Disability. He is a physiotherapist by training specialising in the area of stroke and head injuries. His main research focus is access to rehabilitation services for persons with disabilities in lower and middle-income countries.

Tim's main research areas are disability and rehabilitation. His current research is studying access to rehabilitation services and assistive technology for persons with disabilities in the Maldives, using a mixed-method approach. His Organisational and Policy Analysis (OPA) was a critical analysis of an international non-governmental organisation's influencing strategy on disability related health and rehabilitation services in Nepal.
