Research

I am a biochemist specialized in cellular microbiology and bacterial infection with a passion for quantitative microscopy and microfluidics. After completing my Ph.D in the laboratory of Prof. Thierry Soldati at the University of Geneva (Switzerland) on mycobacterial infections, I joined the laboratory of Prof. Serge Mostowy at LSHTM to work with Shigella and develop new imaging and analysis tools to unravel bacterial pathogenicity and host response. My research is supported by a Early Postdoc.Mobility Fellowship from the Swiss National Science Foundation, and a Marie Sklodowska-Curie Individual Fellowship.

I am also an organiser of the London Infection Postdoc Network, a collaborative platform that holds online and in person scientific and social events every two months.
