I hold a BA in Political Science from the University of Bologna, Italy, a MSc in State, Society and Development from SOAS and a PG Cert in Social Research Methods from Birkbeck College. I have 15 years experience working in fragile- and conflict-affected settings in Sub-Saharan Africa and the MENA on child protection, VAWG, sexual and reproductive health, girls' education and youth. I have extensive experience in results-oriented and process evaluations and in designing participatory tools to collect data with children, adolescents and vulnerable groups. I am fluent in Italian, English and French, I have a good command of Spanish and conversational Levantine Arabic and have studied German.

My PhD examines barriers to demand formulation and access to contraception and safe abortion for adolescent mothers in conflict and displacement settings with a focus on Palestinian young women.
