Dr Suping Ling

Assistant Professor in Epidemiology

Suping completed her undergraduate degree in Preventive Medicine and Public Health at Wuhan University (China) in 2014 and her PhD in Cancer Epidemiology at Centre for Public health, Queen’s University Belfast (Northern Ireland) in 2018. She then moved to the University of Leicester (Leicester Diabetes Centre and Department of Health Sciences) to do post-doctoral research using electronic health records data. She also holds a BA in Translation and Interpretation (English/Chinese). In June 2021, she joined the School as Assistant Professor in Epidemiology within the Inequalities in Cancer Outcomes Network (ICON) group, part of the Department of Non-Communicable Disease Epidemiology.
