Currently I am finishing my doctoral thesis, which focuses on the experience of Roma Health Mediators in Romania. Prior to that I was working on health systems research, specifically the responses to non-communicable diseases in several countries of the former Soviet Union and in Malaysia. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Russian and French and a Master of Philosophy degree in European History, both from the University of Cambridge. I also have an MSc in Public Health from LSHTM.
