Research

I am part of the CONCORD Central Analytic Team where our research focuses on the worldwide surveillance of cancer survival trends to identify, quantify and understand variations and inequalities that exist in cancer care across countries. The research aims to develop evidence to inform policy on cancer control.

My research involves the development of complete, smoothed life tables to estimate background mortality which is required to analyse net survival of cancer patients for participating countries of the CONCORD programme.

My Masters research focused on the Andhra Pradesh Children and Parents Study (APCAPS) cohort to investigate the association of longitudinal risk factors on multimorbidity incidence among women.
