Clinical academic with dual appointments of Clinical Assistant Professor at the LSHTM and Consultant Ophthalmologist at Mid Cheshire Hospitals. Academic and clinical interests include diseases and research in Cornea, Glaucoma and Vision Screening.

Act as the Medical Editor for the Community Eye Health Journal.

Studied medicine at Trinity College Dublin and completed specialist ophthalmology training in the UK. Successfully completed his PhD on the pathogenesis of trachomatous scarring with the LSHTM under the supervision of Professor Matthew Burton.
