Mrs Patricia Henley
BSc, MSc, MSc Public Health
Quality and Governance Manager
Canadian by birth, I completed a biology degree before moving to the UK where I have since completed two further postgraduate degrees, including an MSc in Public Health. I have worked in various roles in clinical research since 2001: clinical data manager, trial manager and research facilitator at various NHS Trusts and universities within London.
I have been at LSHTM since 2008 and I am the Head of the Research Governance and Integrity Office. My responsibilities include managing the School’s research audit programme, ensuring compliance of all research with relevant legislation and guidelines, overseeing the training programme in Good Clinical Practice and providing advice and guidance in research. I am also the School's Designated Individual under the Human Tissue Act.
