Ms Rachel Gregory
Senior Scientific Officer
Rachel has worked within the Immunology Department as a member of support staff since 1990 in a number of different roles. Whist at the School she has obtained a HNC in applied Biology (1991), BSc in Biochemistry (1995) and an MSc in Medical Molecular Biology (1999). In the past she has been has been involved in both research and teaching and setting up and managing both sequencing and confocal facilities. Since 2014 Rachel has worked as a part time lab manager in lab 420.
Rachel is involved in demonstrating and organising immunology and imaging practical classes for the MSc courses thoughout the year. She also assists students in lab 420 with summer project work.
Rachel works as a part time lab manager in Lab 420 where the Bancroft, Bickle, Fletcher and Raynes lab groups are based. She also works with Bickle schistosome drug discovery group assisting in the maintenance of schistosome life cycle.
