I hold  a BSc in Mathematics from King's College London and an MSc in Statistics from the University of Kent. I recently studied for a PhD at the University of Bath, where I worked as a statistical consultant alongside my research. My PhD focused on developing machine learning algorithms, particularly Gaussian process models, to predict and rank the efficacy of herbicidal compounds.

My research interests lie in predictive modelling using modern, machine learning techniques. I have a particular interest in regression methods for spatial and longitudinal data.

My current research is funded by the Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund and is a follow-up to a study which aimed to predict pancreatic cancer diagnosis from early symptoms. The current project increases the duration of symptoms from 2 to 5 years, and includes population-based, as well as cancerous controls.
