I am a spatial statistician interested in disease mapping in Low-Resource Settings with a focus on the epidemiology and control of neglected tropical diseases (NTDs) in sub-Saharan Africa.

I obtained my Bsc in Economics and Management and my Msc in Finance from the University of Trento (Italy). I have done a PhD in Statistics at the Department of Statistical Sciences of the University of Padova (Italy). During this period I also spent one year and a half at CHICAS, Medical School, Lancaster Univesrity under the supervision of Prof. Peter J. Diggle. My research was mainly focused on investigating the effects and find corrections of positional errors for geostatistical models and point pattern analysis.
