I joined the TB Modelling Group in 2018 as a mathematical modeller with an interest in the natural history of tuberculosis. In particular, my research focuses on encapsulating recent advances in our understanding of tuberculosis natural history within mathematical models to better understand the epidemiology of the disease and in turn support policy development. I am a member of the Centre for Mathematical Modelling of Infectious Diseases and the TB Centre

  I completed my PhD in theoretical physics at the Institute of Cosmology and Gravitation at the University of Portsmouth, modelling the big bang in string theory. Prior to joining the School I undertook research at National Grid, modelling whole-energy systems.
