I am an immunologist working in the Clinical Research Department. After completing an undergraduate degree in Biology at the University of Bristol in 2010, I studied for a Masters in Immunology of Infectious Diseases at LSHTM. Following this I joined the trachoma group at LSHTM to investigate immunofibrogenic host responses to ocular Chlamydia trachomatis infection. I completed my PhD in 2016. I am now based overseas at the Kilimanjaro Christian Medical Centre in Moshi, Tanzania. My current research focusses on the epidemiology, immunology and control of Trachoma and Microbial Keratitis.

Teaching

I am a tutor on the Masters in Infectious Diseases by Distance Learning, module 102 (Principles of Biology), and I am currently enrolled in PGCILT module 1. In Tanzania I co-supervise a PhD student and supervise LSHTM MSc projects.
