Ms Anna Carnegie
- Global Burden of Disease Independent Advisory Committee
LSHTM, Senate House
University of London, Malet St, Bloomsbury
I joined the School as a Project Coordinator in March 2018 to support a broad portfolio of research projects in the Centre for Mathematical Modelling of Infectious Diseases (CMMID).
I am currently undertaking a secondment with the Global Burden of Disease Independent Advisory Committee, based in the Department of Non-Communicable Disease Epidemiology and chaired by Professor Peter Piot.
I am a social scientist by background. Prior to joining LSHTM, I worked in the housing and health sectors, conducting and facilitating research and public engagement activities for a number of charities and academic institutions. I have a Bachelors degree in Social Science (Social Work) and Masters in Public Policy, both from University College Dublin.
I have a strong interest in sexual and reproductive health and volunteer for a number of excellent reproductive rights charities in my spare time.
