Teaching
I am a tutor on the DL Parasitology and Basic Epidemiology courses and a personal tutor for students in the Veterinary Epidemiology MSc delivered jointly by RVC & LSHTM. I am available for supervision of MSc research projects related to my research areas.
Research
In my research and policy work, I’ve used a systems approach to explore climate determinants of disease transmission from livestock to people through shared watersheds, dissemination of AMR in human pathogens into the agricultural environment, and national preparedness capacities for emerging infectious disease spillover from wildlife and informal markets.
I am currently affiliated with the Centre on Climate Change and Planetary Health at LSHTM and lead a climate change and health policy project in Kenya funded by the Childrens' Investment Fund Foundation.
