"Having graduated in Neuroscience and Psychology, I was looking for a programme that would give me a more in-depth background in international public health and more specifically, reproductive and sexual health. Attending LSHTM was one of the most broadening experiences of my life; the course gave me the necessary tools to be able to go into any sector of public health.
The study units and professors were beyond exceptional. Working alongside individuals who were world-renowned clinicians and researchers was truly an honour in itself. I learned about many aspects of other regions of the world, the people who lived there, and the public health in each setting. LSHTM gave me that global perspective, a perspective that will continually guide me in any discipline.
I am now looking towards specialising in international reproductive medicine because of my experiences at LSHTM. I would definitely recommend LSHTM to anyone considering public health and desiring an unforgettable learning experience; my year here was eye-opening and exceptional. LSHTM was an incredible learning environment filled with ambition, motivation, encouragement, and compassion."
