"The LSHTM has embraced and nurtured the multidisciplinary nature of my research. Coming here has been a valuable step for me, professionally and personally. I have worked in development for many years, moving gradually from a wider social arena to public and reproductive health. The School has enabled me to broaden and deepen the understanding that I brought, with new knowledge and intense reflection. The flexible research degree programme allows me to combine field-based research with academic study, and the learning that results is so much more meaningful. Equally important to me is the fun and thrill of being in a lively, multicultural and multi-ethnic environment!"
