"My deep passion for medical knowledge was conceived in Nigeria, where I grew-up witnessing many people including family members get sick and eventually die of preventable and curable diseases. I was moved by this common scenario, to travel across the hills and waters of Africa, to a renowned university that would upgrade my knowledge, and empower me to face 21st century medical challenges.
Having studied widely and worked in various public health institutions, I came to the conclusion that only a health policy with emphasis on preventative measures can save the medically ill patient. Hence my enrolment at LSHTM. I unreservedly recommend this well-structured course to all those who seek to heal human beings through the prevention of diseases."
