Caroline Makamto Sobgui

Caroline Makamto Sobgui from Cameroon has studied the MSc Nutrition for Global Health (formerly MSc Public Health Nutrition)

After doing my postgraduate degree in nutritional biochemistry in Cameroon and working for the Food and Nutrition Research Centre, I decided that my real interest lay in the public Health Nutrition field. I searched for a course and find that LSHTM was the best place to study public health and began planning for my Msc.
In 2007 I finally got an award from the World Bank to study at the school. Despite the fact that the same year I got awards for three different countries, I chose the one which allowed me to come here at the school. My decision was not a mistake and I think that I made the right choice.

I have really appreciated the high standard of programmes, the availability of lecturers and personal tutor who despite their personal work are always ready to assist. Moreover, at the LSHTM, students have the opportunity to learn from outstanding lecturers and students from all over the world.
