National Academic Awards from the British Federation of Women Graduates
Description: To promote women's opportunities in education and public life and to work for conditions in which women can combine careers and domestic responsibilities.
Eligibility: Female research students in their final year of study for a PhD degree. N.B.: MPhil students would need to be upgraded to a PhD by the deadline date.

International Federation of University Women
The International Federation of University Women lists a number of other Women Graduates' organisations throughout the world who offer funding for postgraduate research in a range of fields. These are divided as International Awards and National Awards. Website: www.ifuw.org

Schlumberger Foundation Faculty of the Future PhD/Post-doc Scholarships
Faculty for the Future fellowships are awarded to women from developing and emerging economies who are preparing for PhD or post-doctoral study in the physical sciences, engineering, or related disciplines such as infectious diseases or public health to pursue advanced graduate study at top universities in their disciplines abroad. Grants provided by the Schlumberger Foundation are in the range of USD 25,000 to 50,000 per year, and may be renewed up to two times subject to performance, self-evaluation, and recommendations from supervisors.
Eligibility:
Grant recipients are expected to return to their home countries at the end of their studies to continue their academic careers. As teachers, they will contribute to the ultimate vision of the program which is the attracting of more talented women into science and engineering careers.
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- be a citizen of a developing or emerging country
- be preparing for PhD or post-doctoral study in the physical sciences or related disciplines
- have a proven track record of teaching experience
- can demonstrate active participation in faculty life and outreach work to encourage young women into the sciences
- hold an excellent academic record
