"The Continuing Professional Development Programme enables participants to refresh their skills and to keep in touch with the latest research and knowledge underlying efforts to improve public health and global health. An important aspect of the School's teaching role is to be able to respond to the needs of individuals who require short specialised training and study opportunities. Such individuals may not have the time to study for a year in London, nor to undertake a distance learning degree, or may wish to undertake more selective study."

MSc Programme ModulesThe School offers 18 MSc courses, all designed on a modular basis. A wide range of modules within these programmes are available to take as single courses of study. This offers individuals an opportunity to update their skills, enhance career development and study with health professionals from other institutions in a multicultural environment.
Short Courses
Short courses are run throughout the year and vary in length from one day to three months. All courses are at postgraduate level and provide opportunities for intensive study of specialised topics. The School continually reviews its portfolio of short courses to ensure that its expertise is made available to health professionals in a timely and appropriate manner.
Distance Learning
The School is aware of the difficulties some students find in finding the time and funding to come to London to study, and has developed a range of distance learning courses to make widely available its specialised advanced training.
