Working in the UK during your studies
If you travel here on a Tier 4 Student visa for your course at LSHTM, then you will be able to carry out the following:
- part-time work during term-time, which is no more than 20 hours per week
- full-time work during vacations or the holidays
There are certain types of work you are not permitted to do on a Student Visa. Please see sections 296 and 298 of the Tier 4 Policy Guidance (version 07/11) for full details.
However, please note that we do not recommend working the full entitlement due to the high demands of the courses at LSHTM.
