European Union Masters of Science (Epidemiology)

The London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine has teamed up with 14 European epidemiology teaching institutions in a collaborative programme, coordinated from the University of Mainz, Germany. The programme offers students the opportunity to gain an Epidemiology degree, by combining courses taken at several institutions in the European network. Students registered on the European Union Masters of Science (Epidemiology) (EU-MSE) can integrate LSHTM programme teaching units (modules) into their learning programme. Many of the units (modules) listed on the MSc Teaching Units page are eligible. For further details on the new programme visit: www.eu-mse.de

Only some of the universities (the first being Mainz) are currently registering students. These “home universities” are where most of the courses will be taken. The other collaborating universities offer some modules (LSHTM is one) but are not, as yet, registering students for the EU-MSE degree. Students interested in registering for this particular degree should contact the University of Mainz for full details (Contact details available at: www.eu-mse.de).
